cuiDAMOS comes from a simple conviction: a society that organises, takes part and works together has the power to transform its own reality.
These principles guide the way we act:
We look after what belongs to everyone
Democracy, our land, our communities and the common good belong to all of us. That is why we see care as a shared responsibility that goes beyond private interests.
We are independent
cuiDAMOS does not belong to, represent or answer to any candidate, party or political movement.
Our involvement comes from civil society, and our independence lets us work on causes we consider essential for the country and its communities.
We may agree with different people, organisations and institutions on specific goals, but no candidacy, party or political interest defines what we do or speaks for cuiDAMOS.
The cause comes first
At cuiDAMOS we are not after personal limelight. The cause always comes before names, companies, organisations or individual recognition. Purpose is what unites us, and we work to produce results.
We are civil society in action
We believe being a citizen means far more than watching. It means taking part, proposing, accompanying and acting. We are not trying to replace institutions: we put what we can do at the service of society and work to strengthen it.
More unites us than divides us
We may think differently, come from different places and hold diverse views. cuiDAMOS looks for those essential purposes where we can meet. When there is a common cause, differences stop being a barrier to working together.
We act transparently
Trust is our main asset. That is why we insist on handling resources, donations, information and every action responsibly and openly. Anyone who trusts cuiDAMOS must be able to know what we do, how we do it and what came of it.
We turn capabilities into action
Every person and every company can contribute something different: time, knowledge, resources, logistics, contacts, experience or labour. Our purpose is to connect those capabilities and turn them into concrete solutions where they are genuinely needed.
We help with judgement and responsibility
It is not only about helping, but about helping well. We listen, identify the real needs, set priorities, coordinate, and try to make sure every resource reaches where it can do the most good.
We build, we do not divide
cuiDAMOS exists to add. We stand for respect, participation, solidarity and building together. We are not here to feed divisions; we are here to find causes capable of bringing us back together as a society.
One same conviction
These principles were there when we decided to look after our democracy, and they moved us again when our land needed help.
