We are citizens and business owners from Colombia's Coffee Region. When something we care about needs looking after, we stop watching and get to work.
Why we exist
It started with a shared concern.
Friends, business owners and ordinary citizens realised that watching and waiting was not always enough. We could organise ourselves and put what we know how to do at the service of whatever needed looking after.
That is how cuiDAMOS was born: civil society organising to act.

cuiDAMOS Our Democracy
For this year's presidential elections we organised around one simple idea: that people's votes should reach the count intact. Citizen participation, safeguarding the vote and electoral transparency, without belonging to any candidate or party.
In a single day we put 1,979 people on the ground across Risaralda. Of those, 443 served as official polling officers and the rest accompanied the process at polling stations and from coordination.
That network never disbanded. It is the same one that opened the collection point the day after the earthquake.
Election day, in a single day
Not one of them answered to a candidate or a party.
One same conviction
First our democracy.
Then our land.
Tomorrow there may be a new cause. What stays is our ability to find each other, organise and act.
How we work
From a need to something concrete.
Our real strength
When we organise, we can do far more.
Our capacity lies in whoever donates, lends a vehicle, opens a warehouse, brings knowledge, makes a connection, or simply decides to stop being a bystander and become part of the answer.
Who made it possible
None of this we did alone.
Companies and organisations that put in goods, transport, warehouse space, food or money when it was needed. At no charge and asking for nothing in return.

Independent. Transparent.
United by the cause.
We do not belong or answer to candidates, parties or political movements. We are civil society in action. Every peso that comes in is recorded with its receipt, and we publish what it was used for.
